Phyto-medicines have always been a major component of traditional system of healing in developing countries, which have also been an integral part of their history and culture. The conference will provide educational opportunities for pharmacists, pharmacognosists, botanists, ethnobotanists, ethnopharmacologists and others involved in research, evaluation, development and marketing of botanicals for use in health care. Safety and efficacy of the herbal medicines are always a cause of concern to promote and rationalize their use.
